PROJECT SUMMARY |

Brief description of the project and main objectives |
The general objective is to provide more efficient and quality services to women victims, their children, children involved in crimes and children victims of violence, under the jurisdiction of the Gendarmerie General Command (GCG). The specific objective is to enhance the capacity of Women and Child Sections (WCS) of the GCG to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in prevention and fight against violence, including domestic violence, against women and children. To contribute to the efforts of protecting women and children against all forms of violence. |

- Administrative and staff capacities of GCG on intervention in domestic violence enhanced. - An Advocacy and Communication Strategy for women and child victims prepared, WCS staff trained about the Advocacy and Communication Strategy, - Advocacy and Communication Strategy of the GCG disseminated to public, public institutions, NGOs and international organizations with cooperation and coordination. |
