Turkey-EU High Level Transport Dialogue Meeting Was Held in Brussels
The ministerial meeting in the context of Türkiye-EU High Level Transport Dialogue was hosted by European Commission in Brussels on 27 November 2017. The dialogue process was decided to be revitalised in the official visit of Violeta BULC, Member of European Commission Responsible for Transport, to Türkiye on 5-6 July 2017.
The meeting was co-chaired by Ahmet ARSLAN, Turkish Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication and Violeta BULC, Member of European Commission Responsible for Transport, and the issues on Trans-European Transport Networks (TEN-T), road safety and civil aviation were discussed. Furthermore, Türkiye’s membership in European Traffic Police Network (TISPOL) was agreed by the parties.
Our Ministry was represented in the meetings by Selçuk BAYRAKTAROĞLU, Acting Deputy Undersecretary, and the delegation accompanying him.
