The Protocol for "Special Provincial Administrations Preparing for the EU" is Signed
The protocol for "Special Provincial Administrations Preparing For the EU" Project is signed today by the participation of Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mr. Egemen BAÐIÞ, Minister of Interior Mr.İdris Naim ÞAHİN, the Chairman of the Union of Provincial Services and Governor of Ankara Mr. Alaaddin YÜKSEL at the ceremony in Governors House (Vali Galip DEMİREL Vilayetler Evi).
The project which will be implemented in cooperation with the Ministry for EU Affairs, the Ministry of Interior and the Union of Provincial Services aims to strengthen administrative capacity and awareness of the Special Provincial Administrations and the EU Units of the Governorates on issues related to EU affairs.
In the context of this project, special provincial administrations will be actively involved in the EU accession process through trainings on EU affair and study visits to observe best practices in EU countries.
