The Ministry for EU Affairs Evaluates in Berlin Türkiye’s contributions to the Future of the EU with Representatives from Civil Society
The Ministry for EU Affairs, under the auspices of Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik, held three different meetings in Berlin, with the participation of academicians, media and business circle from Türkiye and Germany titled “TÜRKİYE-EU CIVIL SOCIETY MEETINGS”.
Representatives from civil society, both from Türkiye and Germany came together to exchange views by assessing Türkiye-EU relations in the current context. The ideas and recommendations shared in these series of the meetings are aimed to provide guidance for the Türkiye-EU common future.
The first meeting of representatives from the business world, academicians and members of the media, who are important stakeholders in the EU Communication Strategy (EUCS), was held in Brussels on 29th November 2016. The series of meetings are planned to continue in other EU capital cities following the meetings in Berlin.
