13th Meeting of Sub-Committee No.6 was Held in Brussels on 15-16 March 2016

The 13th Meeting of Sub-Committee No.6 Transport, Environment, Energy and Trans-European Networks was held in Brussels on 15-16 March 2016 with the co-chairmanship of Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry for EU Affairs Mr. Ahmet YÜCEL.

In the meeting, information exchange was realized on the current status of Türkiye’s alignment process and implementation of the EU acquis regarding the Chapters No.14 Transport Policy, No.15 Energy, No.21 Trans-European Networks and No.27 Environment and Climate Action; and the recent developments in these fields both in Türkiye and the EU have been discussed. Furthermore, two technical side-meetings on Water Policy and Nuclear Safety were also held on 15 and 16 March respectively.
