Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik visits Brastislava
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will pay a visit to Bratislava on 14 June 2016 to hold official talks with his counterparts from Slovakia which will assume the EU Presidency on the second half of 2016.
Within the framework of his visit to Bratislava, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will meet with Miroslav Lajcak, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia at a working dinner.
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will also meet Ivan Korčok, Secretary of State for EU Presidency. Also at the Parliament Minister Ömer Çelik will meet with the Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs as well as the Chair of the EU Committee in the Slovakian Parliament. Minister Ömer Çelik will also come together with the Slovakian press in Bratislava.
At his meetings in Bratislava, Minister Ömer Çelik will exchange views on the recent developments in Türkiye-EU relations, visa liberalisation process, preparations and priorities of the Slovakian EU Presidency and bilateral relations between Türkiye and Slovakia.
