Project Writing Training Organised by Our Directorate, Hosted by the Governorship of Karaman

The project development and proposal writing training, together with a presentation on the Erasmus+ Programme, organised by the Directorate General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation of the Directorate for EU Affairs and hosted by the Governorship of Karaman, was successfully completed on 1–2 September.

A delegation of three experts from the Directorate for EU Affairs paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Karaman, Mr Hayrettin Çiçek, and Deputy Governor Mr Fikret Dağ at their offices, thanking them for their hospitality and support in making the training programme possible.

Within the scope of the programme, EU Affairs Expert Gül Erdenir from the Directorate delivered comprehensive presentations on the structure of the Erasmus+ Programme and its grant opportunities, while Assistant EU Affairs Expert Meriç Yeğin shared the Directorate's experience in applying for funding under Erasmus+ calls.

Over the course of the two-day training programme, Dr Anıl Müge Seyrekbasan, Training Coordinator at the Directorate, provided participants with interactive training on project cycle management, project development and proposal writing processes related to EU funds.

The training was attended by 40 participants from across Karaman province and its districts, including public officials, university staff and representatives of civil society organisations. At the end of the two-day programme, certificates were presented to the participants by Deputy Governor Mr Fikret Dağ.

Following the completion of the training programme, the delegation from the Directorate for EU Affairs, together with Dr Özgür Öztürk, Karaman Provincial Coordinator of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK), visited production facilities that have benefited from IPARD funding.

Through these training programmes, which aim to enhance our country's capacity to benefit from EU and other international funds and to foster a stronger project culture in Türkiye, the Directorate will continue to expand its networks and partnerships both at home and abroad.
