Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay attended the opening ceremony of the TUREU-BRIDGE Project

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador attended the opening ceremony of the TUREU-BRIDGE Project (Pioneering Türkiye’s EU Integration and Democratic Future by Building Bridges for Young Leaders), coordinated by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and held online on 2 December 2025.

In the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Ambassador Bozay emphasized that the project is a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening the active participation of youth in Türkiye’s EU integration process. At the event, Bülent Özcan, Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation, presented on Türkiye-EU financial cooperation and education, scholarship, exchange and grant opportunities for youth.

TUREU-BRIDGE is a Jean Monnet Module that aims to provide undergraduate students of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Biga Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, with an opportunity to understand the EU comprehensively, to reduce knowledge gaps and misconceptions regarding Türkiye–EU relations, and to increase awareness of Türkiye–EU relations.
