A Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs and the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK)

A cooperation protocol was signed between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director of EU Affairs Mehmet Kemal Bozay and President of the Foreign Economic Relations Board Nail Olpak at the 15th Ambassadors Conference organized with the theme of “Turkey’s Diplomatic Moves and Global Reflections” to encourage cooperation and partnerships between Turkish and European business world representatives within the scope of various EU funds, especially EU programmes.

The protocol, which establishes a cooperation mechanism between DEİK and the Directorate for EU Affairs within the framework of EU funding opportunities, aims to ensure that the business world, which is a key actor in the development of our country’s international economic relations, establishes strategic collaborations in order to increase its global competitiveness and benefit more and more effectively from the funds in question.

In this context, Directorate for EU Affairs and DEİK will work in cooperation to inform Turkish and European business world representatives about EU funds and cooperation opportunities at the meetings and contacts of the DEİK Business Councils, which bring them together on a country or sectoral basis.
