The Launching Event of the “Project on Enhancing Foreign Language Education in Türkiye” was held

The launching event of the “Project on Enhancing Foreign Language Education in Türkiye” financed under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) 2021-2027 period was held with the participation of Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, on December 4, 2024 in Ankara. 

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Ambassador Bozay emphasized that the project is an important milestone on the path to reach international standards in foreign language education in Türkiye.

Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin stated that under the 'Foreign Language Education' project, we aim to develop projects in line with the needs of the new age in our education programs and to revise our education system and curriculum accordingly.

After the opening speeches, the event continued with the presentations regarding the project.
