The Joint Sectoral Monitoring Committee Meeting of the IPA II-III on Fundamental Rights, Civil Society and Judiciary

The Joint Sectoral Monitoring Committee Meeting was held on 4 June 2024 with regard to fundamental rights, civil society and judiciary within IPA II (2014-2020) period. For fundamental rights and civil society, the lead institution role is assumed by the Directorate for EU Affairs while for judiciary by the Ministry of Justice.

The meeting was attended by the National IPA Coordinator (NIPAC), the Central Finance and Contracts Unit, the National Authorizing Officer, Audit Authority, beneficiary institutions and representatives from related international organizations.

Recent developments and the state of play regarding implementation of projects were shared with SMC members. The indicators and achievements of the projects were also discussed.
