The Closing Event of “Determination of Industrial Emissions Strategy of Türkiye in Accordance with Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (DIES) Project” was held

The closing event of the "Determination of Industrial Emissions Strategy of Türkiye in Accordance with Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (DIES)” project financed under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) 2014-2020 period Environment and Climate Action Sector Operational Programme was held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay on 17 January 2024 in Ankara.

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Ambassador Bozay emphasized that green and digital transition are among the primary issues that the EU has focused on recently and  coordination between the public, private sectors and the academy is important in this regard.

The event in which Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay and Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Fatma Varank made opening speeches, continued with panel sessions.
