Information Day and Partnership Forum For Environmentally Friendly SMEs
An information day and partnership forum will be held for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Edirne and Kırklareli who want to benefit from the "environmentally friendly cross-border cooperation" project call for proposals announced for the first time for SMEs within the scope of the Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme.
Regarding the call, firstly an info day will be organized for Edirne and Kırklareli SMEs at Trakya University Balkan Congress Center on January 23 with the participation of the representatives of Directorate for European Union Affairs, KOSGEB and Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. Following the presentations about the Cross-border Cooperation Programmes for which the Directorate for European Union Affairs acts as the National Authority, the 2021-2027 period of the Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme and the Rules of the Call for Proposals for “environmentally friendly cross-border cooperation” will be explained to SMEs, as well as the details for using the common electronic monitoring system (JeMS) which will be used by the SMEs for submitting their project proposals.
During the info day, in addition to an introduction to the call for proposals under the Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme covering Edirne and Kırklareli, information will also be delivered about other programmes that can provide synergies with the current call. Those who are interested in the call and would like to participate in the information day can apply by filling out the Application Form of Information Day until January 17.
Since SMEs in Edirne and Kırklareli are expected to apply to the call by developing projects in the fields of manufacturing, accommodation and food service activities, transportation and storage, information and communication together with their Bulgarian project partners, a Partnership Forum will be held on January 24 at Trakya University Balkan Congress Center. At the partnership forum, Turkish and Bulgarian SMEs will come together, introduce themselves, present their project ideas and hold round table meetings to establish partnerships based on project topics. Those who are interested in the call and would like to participate in the partnership forum can apply Application Form of Partnership Forum until January 19.
