Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay attended the Jean Monnet Module POW-EU-R Opening Ceremony with Kocaeli University

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for European Union Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay met with students and academics online on May 10, 2023 at the Opening Ceremony organized by Kocaeli University within the scope of the POW-EU-R Program “Global Balance of Power: The European Union and Türkiye as Special Cases” Conference.

Jean Monnet Module on The Power of the EU: Re-examining the EU's Global Impact in Economics, Politics and Law (POW-EU-R) since the beginning of 2022 Sessions on law, security, power, migration, environment, climate, energy, enlargement and diplomacy were held at the conference.

In the opening speech of the conference, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, who informed the students and academics on Türkiye-EU relations and scholarship programs conducted by the Directorate for EU Affairs, stated that the role that our youth will play in our EU membership process is of great importance in shaping the process.
