Strategy Board meeting of the Interreg Bulgaria-Türkiye Programme 2021 -2027 held in Haskovo, Bulgaria
The second meeting of the Strategy Board, which was established to support the activities of the "A Europe closer to its citizens" objective of 2021-2027 period of the Interreg Bulgaria - Turkey Cross-border Cooperation Programme, held in Haskovo, Bulgaria.
The opening of the meeting was conducted by the co-chairs of the Strategy Board, Mr. Georgi Dimitrov, Major of Kornobat Municipality, and Deputy Governer of Edirne, Mr. Sıdkı Zehin, as well as Deputy Governor of Kırklareli, Mr. Yusuf Güler. During the meeting, which was organized by the Managing Authority of the Programme, Bulgarian Ministry of Development and Public Works, Director of Territorial Cooperation Management, Mr. Milen Obretenov, and EU Affairs Expert Mustafa Ünsoy also made speeches.
At the meeting, documents related to the upcoming call for project proposals related to the “Achieving sustainable and inclusive economic growth based on increased competitiveness of the local economy, digital and green transformation” objective under the Territorial Strategy of the Programme were negotiated and the draft timeline was decided.
