The Seminar on “Green Transformation in Industry” was held
Opening of the seminar on "Green Transformation in Industry" organized within the scope of the "Determination of Industrial Emissions Strategy of Türkiye in Accordance with Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC)” project financed under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) 2014-2020 period Environment and Climate Action Sector Operational Programme was held with the participation of Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı on 6 December 2022 in Ankara.
In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı emphasized that green transformation is one of the most important issues that the EU has focused on recently and our industrialists should undertake important responsibilities in this regard.
The event in which Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Head of the EU Delegation to Türkiye Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut and TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu made opening speeches, continued with panel sessions.
