Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Faruk Kaymakcı came together with Hans Bruyninckx, Executive Director of the European Environment Agency
Hans Bruyninckx, Executive Director of the European Environment Agency, visited our Presidency on 5 December 2022. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Faruk Kaymakcı underlined the developments in the environment chapter in the EU accession negotiations and the importance we attach to participation and cooperation in EU programs including the EEA.
In the meeting, the contribution of our country in the framework of the ongoing cooperation with the EEA was mentioned. Contribution of cooperation between Türkiye and EEA to green agenda and thus to studies on the climate change was emphasized.
