Interreg IPA Bulgaria-Türkiye Programme 2021-2027 period first Joint Monitoring Committee meeting held
The first Joint Monitoring Committee meeting of the Interreg IPA Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2021-2027 period, in which our Directorate acts as the National Authority, was held in Edirne on 1 December 2022.
The meeting was co-chaired by Serdar Öztürk, Deputy General Manager of Project Implementation and Financial Cooperation, Directorate for EU Affairs and Desislava Georgieva Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works of Bulgaria.
During the meeting, following the opening speeches, evaluations were made about the closure of the 2014-2020 period of the programme, and studies were carried out on the progress of the implementation period of 2021-2027.
The first call for proposals for the programme is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023.
