Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in EU Programmes and Project Opportunities Workshop
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı addressed the “EU Programmes and Project Opportunities Workshop” which was hosted by the Directorate for EU Affairs in the form of an hybrid event on 11-12 May 2022.
Head of the European Union Delegation to Türkiye Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut also delivered opening speech in the event.
In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı underlined that “The contribution of EU Programmes is very important for Türkiye to adapt to the changes required by green and digital transformation in the globalizing world and for the transition to a sustainable economy.”
I invite all our institutions and organizations to actively participate in the Union Programs that support cooperation and harmony in many different fields and spread knowledge and good practices between Türkiye and EU member states.”
Workshop brought public and private organizations and institutions, universities, SCOs together to raise awareness about the opportunities of Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, Europe4Health, Single Market programme, Creative Europe programme and Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme and project calls they can benefit from.
During several panels spread throughout two days, panelists who are the representatives of the organizations that had project experience within the scope of the calls shared the achievements, outputs, challenges, lessons learned and cooperation processes with the EU member states in the projects they implemented.
