Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the ''Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme Certificate Ceremony''

The 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 academic year Jean Monnet scholars who completed their graduate education in the EU member states received their certificates in a ceremony attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, on 15 June 2021. The event was organized within the framework of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, which is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for European Union Affairs.

The event was joined by Ambassadors of EU member states; representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, Directorate for European Union Affairs, Central Finance and Contracts Unit as well as other stakeholder institutions.

The ceremony started with the opening speeches of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut  and the Director of Central Finance and Contracts Unit Dr. Hakan Ertürk. Afterwards, Jean Monnet Scholars of 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 academic years took the floor to share their experiences.  The ceremony ended with the presentation of certificates.
