Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı Attended the Online Closing Ceremony of “Building a Social Entrepreneurship Network in Türkiye” Project Supported by Partnerships and Networks Grant Scheme
Online closing ceremony of “Building a Social Entrepreneurship Network in Türkiye” project conducted by the Vehbi Koç Foundation within the scope of Partnerships and Networks Grant Scheme implemented by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs was held on September 9-10, 2020.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, General Director for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation Bülent Özcan, Director General of Vehbi Koç Foundation and many social entrepreneurs, business people, representatives of universities and public institutions attended the closing ceremony.
During his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı stated that “Building a Social Entrepreneurship Network in Türkiye” project which started 2 years ago has now been successfully completed. Ambassador Kaymakcı has also expressed his satisfaction with the project and outcomes obtained through implementation. Kaymakcı also underlined thatsupporting such a successful project which brings together social entrepreneurs targeting to produce benefits for the society has always become source of pleasure for himself. Ambassador Kaymakcı added that the online platform established within the project and the trainings carried out so far would strengthen the social entrepreneurs’ capacities and support their active participation in decision-making processes.
