Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı met with the European Parliament Türkiye Rapporteur Nacho Sanchez Amor on 23 January 2020 in Ankara.

In the meeting where all dimensions of Türkiye-EU relations were discussed in detail, both parties agreed that the European Parliament, as it was in 2004, can play an important role on advancing Türkiye’s EU accession process.
