Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme Officials met with the 2019-2020 Academic Year Jean Monnet Scholars

Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme Officials met with the Jean Monnet scholars who are awarded a scholarship for the 2019-2020 academic year at the Pre-Departure Meeting held in Istanbul on 30 May 2019.

The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, implemented by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs and financed by EU, aims at increasing the number of people specialised in the field of European Union and to support Türkiye in its efforts towards accession by enhancing Türkiye’s administrative capacity for the effective implementation of the EU Acquis.

A group photograph was taken following opening remarks of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs Acting Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation Bülent Özcan and Central Finance and Contracts Unit Director Mehmet Selim Uslu. 2019-2020 Academic year award winners of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme were provided with detailed information of the scholarship process during the meeting throughout the day.
