Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı met with Angel Tilvar, Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania and the accompanying delegation on 16 May 2019 in Ankara.
Romanian EU Presidency and Türkiye-EU relations with all dimensions were discussed during the consultations. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı stated that 10 EU commitments adopted at Sibiu EU Summit can only be realized with Türkiye's membership to the EU.
