Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik accompanied President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his visit to Adana

Referring to the fight against terrorism in his speech, Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik said; “They were saying that we could not fight against terrorism because we were not strong enough. What did our President say? He said “We are being patient but do not try our patience as we may arrive suddenly one night.” What happened? We cracked down on all terrorist organisations suddenly one night. We will continue the same way. Our greatest strength is our unity and solidarity in this conference room.”

Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik reminded that citizens of Afrin welcomed the heroic Turkish soldiers in Afrin and emphasized that there was a sense of “home” under the Turkish flag.
