Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik indicated that the relations between Türkiye and Bulgaria were increasing and said that Bulgaria, which will be assuming the EU Presidency after Estonia, was particularly important for introducing the Balkan perspective to Europe, which had been neglected by Europe for some time.
Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik indicated that migration was a common issue for both Türkiye and Bulgaria and said that the migration issue would continue to increase in view of current developments.
Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik emphasized that reasonable solutions should be found for the migration issue and said “If an approach that compromises on moral values to preserve the welfare and security of Europe is created, this compromise will undermine both welfare and security.”
