Minister For EU Affairs And Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik’s Visit To London
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik paid a visit to London, UK on 12-14 September for official meetings with UK counterparts.
In London, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik met with UK Minister for Europe and Americas Sir Alan Duncan in separate meetings.
Minister Çelik delivered a speech on the future of Europe at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Relations.
In London, Minister Çelik also met with prominent people working on islamophobia at a working luncheon.
Minister Çelik also gave interviews to UK media during his visit.
Recent developments in Türkiye-EU relations, Türkiye-UK relations, Brexit, fight against terrorism and bilateral cooperation opportunities were on the agenda of Minister Çelik’s meetings in London.
