The opening ceremony of the ''Developing an Institution Model for Children Staying with Their Mothers'' project was held
The opening ceremony of the “Developing an Institution Model for Children Staying with Their Mothers” project financed under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) 2016 programme was held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı on 15 June 2021.
The Project aims to help minimizing the negative effects of the prison environment on the children living with their mothers in penal institutions in Türkiye.
In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı emphasized the importance of the project and stated that the results of the project will affect positively the lives of the children and their mothers in penal institutions.
