Openning Ceremony for the “Technical Assistance Project for Strengthening Capacity of Ministry of Familiy and Social Policies for Public-CSO Cooperation” supported under IPA II-Civil Society Sector was held in İstanbul
Opening Ceremony for the “Technical Assistance Project for Strengthening Capacity of Ministry of Family and Social Policies for Public-CSO Cooperation” supported under IPA II-Civil Society Sector (leaded by Ministry for EU Affairs) was held on June 20,2018 in İstanbul under the auspices and with the participation of the Minister of Family and Social Policies Dr. Fatma Betül SAYAN KAYA.
Undersecretary of the Ministry for EU Affairs Ambassador Selim YENEL delivered his speech at the “Public-CSO Cooperation Project Opening Ceremony”. He underlined the importance of the project and stated the preciousness of public-CSO cooperation for solving common problems together and supporting Türkiye’s EU accession process. Dynamics affecting CSOs, roles of CSOs during policy making and implementation will be studied and mapping studies aiming to analyse the level of public-CSO communication will be developed; trainings and workshops for public staff and CSO representatives will be held; guidance for attending policy cycle and online training modules will be developed; best practices will be analysed and study visits will be organised; code of conduct and governance models will be studied and developed; a CSO Information and Help Desk will be established within the project.
Duration of the project is 2 years with the aprx budget of 2.5 m. Euro.
