Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik Attended the Opening Ceremony of Monument of 15 July Martyrs

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik attended the ceremonies held on the occasion of the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day.

Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik attended the ceremony held on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge in Istanbul, and afterwards attended the ceremony for the opening of the “Monument of 15 July Martyrs” at the Turkish Grand National Assembly and in Beştepe.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the public at the ceremony for the opening of the “Monument of 15 July Martyrs” in Beştepe, stated his wishes for God’s mercy and grace for the martyrs and welfare for the veterans on the occasion of the first anniversary of 15 July, which is one of the major acts of treason faced by Türkiye.

President Erdoğan ve the First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly İsmail Kahraman, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, Head of Chief of Staff General Hulusi Akar, Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Canikli, Deputy Prime Minister Veysi Kaynak, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik and other Ministers, as well as a high number of citizens attended the opening ceremony.
