Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik Attended the Awards Ceremony of the “Sixth Woven Cloth Design Competition”

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik attended the sixth “Woven Cloth Design Competition” held by the Mediterranean Textiles and Materials Exporters Union (ATHIB) in Adana, along with the Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci.

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik also noted that the building in which the competition, the Adana Archaeological Museum, an example of a design, was turned into a museum during his term as the Minister of Culture and Tourism.

Minister Çelik indicated that a design needed be deep-rooted in a source to be original. And said that this competition was very important opportunity for designers to take their place in the fashion industry.
