Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı received Ambassador of Romania to Ankara, Gabriel Cătălin Şopandă at the Directorate for EU Affairs.

Deputy Minister Kaymakcı and Ambassador Şopandă discussed the current state of play and future of Türkiye-EU relations, Türkiye and Romania’s bilateral relations, 2019 Romania's EU Presidency and Erasmus+ and Black Sea Basin Cross Border Cooperation Programmes in detail.
