Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the political consultations between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina and paid official visits in Sarajevo

Political consultations between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina were held in Sarajevo on 29 November 2021 under the co-chairmanship of Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs and Josip Brkic, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the political consultations, Türkiye - Bosnia and Herzegovina bilateral relations, the Euro-Atlantic integration process of Bosnia and Herzegovina and our cooperation in regional and international organizations were discussed in detail.


 
Within the margins of his visit, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı held meetings with Nikola Lovrinovic, Chairman of the Commission for EU Integration in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Christian Schmidt, High Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and held an interview with Sarajevo University students.
 
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Kaymakcı also paid a visit to the Turkish National Support Elements (NSE) of Operation EUFOR Althea in Sarajevo.
