Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in “Beyond the Erasmus+ Education, Culture and Civilizations Connecting" Webinar
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in “Beyond the Erasmus+ Education, Culture and Civilizations Connecting" online event organized by EU-Türkiye Friendship Group on 8 February 2021.
In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı emhasised the importance of role played by Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Programmes in overcoming the prejudices and the development of relations between our country and the EU. He also emphasized that developing a positive dialogue between the people who benefit from the programmes contribute to the development of relations between the EU and Türkiye.
Established in 2020, EU-Türkiye Friendship Group aims at developing cultural relations and social areas. For this purpose, the group aims to develop relations between politicians, business community, civil society and citizens through cultural activities and common values.
