Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı met with the candidate district governors
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı held a meeting on Türkiye-EU relations with the 106. term candidate district governors.
During the training event organised by the Ministry of Interior in Ankara on 1 July 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı also conducted an interactive questionnaire. The results of the interactive questionnaire revealed that 79% of candidate district governors believed that Türkiye’s EU membership would be a win-win-win case.
Deputy Minister Faruk Kaymakcı said “We will continue our EU process all together. We wish all the very success to our district governor candidates in their important duties.”
Ambassador Kaymakcı also gave information about IPA, IPARD, Jean Monnet Scholarship Program, College of Europe Scholarship, Erasmus+, HORIZON 2020, Civil Society Dialogue, Eurodesk ve SNE/NEPT to the candidate district governors.
