Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı met with the 2019-2020 Academic Year Jean Monnet Scholars
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı met with the Jean Monnet scholars who are awarded a scholarship for the 2019-2020 academic year at the Pre-Departure Meeting held in Ankara on 29 May 2019.
The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, implemented by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs and financed by EU, aims at increasing the number of people specialised in the field of European Union and to support Türkiye in its efforts towards accession by enhancing Türkiye’s administrative capacity for the effective implementation of the EU Acquis.
A group photograph was taken following opening remarks of Central Finance and Contracts Unit Director, Mehmet Selim Uslu; Deputy Head of Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, Minister Gabriel Munuera Vinals; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs, Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı. 2019-2020 Academic year award winners of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme were provided with detailed information of the scholarship process during the meeting throughout the day.
