Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı gave an interview to Helsinki Times during his official visit to Helsinki to attend the political consultations between Türkiye and Finland.
Answering the questions on Türkiye’s EU accession process, bilateral relations, regional issues and latest developments, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı stated that Türkiye expects the upcoming Finnish presidency in the second half of 2019 to rekindle 1999 “Helsinki spirit” and accelerate Türkiye’s accession process.
