Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will visit Athens for official contacts
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will visit Athens, Greece, on 1-3 November 2016 for official meetings.
In Athens, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will be received by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. Minister Çelik will also meet with Foreign Minister Nikolaos Kotzias and Alternate Foreign Minister for EU Affairs Nikos Xydakis and will attend a working dinner to be hosted by his counterpart.
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will also meet with the elected Mufti of Xanthi and Komotine and receive the delegation headed by Niko Uzunoğlu, the president of the Istanbul Greek Universal Federation.
During his official contacts in Athens, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will exchange views regarding Turkish-Greek Relations, Türkiye-EU relations, refugee crisis and the implementation of the Türkiye-EU agreement of 18 March, visa liberalisation dialogue, 15 July coup attempt and the measures taken against the FETÖ terrorist organisation following the attempt.
