Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı came together with Czech Minister of EU Affairs Mikuláš Bek
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, discussed Türkiye-EU relations in the context of current developments with Czech Minister of EU Affairs Mikuláš Bek at the meeting held in Prague.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the main areas where Türkiye-EU relations can be enhanced under Czechia’s EU Presidency starting as of 1 July 2022, and the importance of strengthening the accession perspective for Türkiye was underlined. They also discussed enlargement, security, energy, migration and economic recovery which will also be on the agenda of Czech EU Presidency.
