The opening ceremony of the “Protection of Waters Against Agricultural Pollution Through Establishment of a Monitoring and Reporting Methodology for the Nitrate Action Plans” project was held

The opening ceremony of the “Protection of Waters Against Agricultural Pollution Through Establishment of a Monitoring and Reporting Methodology for the Nitrate Action Plans” project financed under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) 2014-2020 period Environment and Climate Action Sector Operational Programme was held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, on February 24, 2022 in Ankara.

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı emphasized that the transformation of the agriculture sector in line with the environment and climate agenda is one of the top priorities to be addressed.

The event in which Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ayşe Ayşin Işıkgece made opening speeches, completed with the project introductory presentation.
