Horizon 2020 Programme Strategic Configuration Committee Online Meeting

Horizon 2020 Strategic Configuration Committee convened online on May 29, 2020. Representatives from TÜBİTAK, which is implementing the Programme in Türkiye and represeantives from the Directorate for EU Affairs, EU Affairs Experts Dr. Petek Karatekelioğlu and Arzu Akar participated to the web meeting.

Delegations of the Programme countries and the European Commission discussed the current state of play related the implementation of the Programmes during COVID19 crisis. The European Commission presented Works on updates in the 2018-2020 work plan and year 2020 project calls adressing COVID-19 related problems and their contributions to the current challenges.

Work ongoing in the design of the European Green Deal call was presented by the European Commission in the framework of the agenda of the Committee. After finalization of consultation processes with all relevant stakeholders in the design of the call and required approvals on the final design the call is expected to be publish early fall semester this year with end of January 2021 deadlines.
