Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in a video discussion on Türkiye-EU relations
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı and the Head of the EU Delegation to Türkiye Ambassador Christian Berger held a video conference on Türkiye-EU relations on 22 May 2020.
During the meeting live-streamed on social media, Türkiye’s EU accession process was discussed. The discussion was shaped in a way to also provide answers to the questions raised by the viewers.
In his assessment, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı said“Coronavirus crisis brought Türkiye and the EU closer to each other but also demonstrated what Türkiye can do in crisis times for the good and benefit of all of us in Europe”.
