Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programmes Committee Meeting has been conducted
EU’s Programme in the field of education, youth and sports Erasmus+ and ESC Programmes Committee convened online on May 5, 2020. Programme country Delegations discussed the current issues in the implementation of the Programmes. EU Affairs Experts Arzu Akar and Dr. Petek Karatekelioğlu attended the meeting on the behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs, designated as the Turkish National Authority of the Programmes.
Follow up to the Committee meeting held on 21 April 2020, the delegations of the Programme countries and the European Commission discussed the current state of play related to the implementation of the Programmes during the COVID-19 crisis and exchanged views on how the implementation may be improved through blended mobility, quality virtual training and advancing online education platforms. European Commission presented online education platforms in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, and solidarity stories of European Solidarity Corps participants during the COVID-19 crisis, as well as the designed IT tools for the 2021-2027 Programmes.
