European Forest Tree Plantation Ceremony held within the scope of 9 May Europe Day

The 9 May Europe Day celebrations continued with an environmentalist event. Within the framework of Türkiye’s European Union Communication Strategy (EUCS), the “European Forest Seedling Plantation Ceremony” organized by the Directorate for EU Affairs, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye has been held on 12 May 2019 in Ankara.

Acting Director General of Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation Bülent Özcan, the FAO Subregional Coordinator for Central Asia and FAO Representative for Türkiye Viorel Gutu, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Türkiye Gabriel Munuera Vinals as well as the representatives of the Directorate for EU Affairs, FAO, EU Delegation to Türkiye, EU and Foreign Affairs Units of the Ministries, embassies and international organizations in Ankara attended the ceremony.
