Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı co-chaired IPA Monitoring Committee Meeting

Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) Monitoring Committee Meeting was held under the co-chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı and Deputy Director General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Maciej Popowski.

In addition to the representatives from Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, European Commission and Delegation of the EU to Türkiye, representatives of institutions involved in the management of EU funds, namely Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Central Finance and Contracts Unit and Agriculture and Rural Development Support Agency.

Programming, implementation, management, control, monitoring and evaluation of financial assistance as well as efficient use of IPA funds were discussed in detail during the meeting held at the Directorate for EU Affairs.
