Within the scope of ENI Black Sea Basin Programme, a training for Controllers and Control Contact Point was held
Within the scope of 2014-2020 Black Sea Basin Cross Border Cooperation Programme for which the Directorate for EU Affairs acts as the National Authority, a training on project implementation and control procedures for Controllers and Control Contact Point of Black Sea Basin ENI CBC Programme was held by the Financial Cooperation Directorate, Programme’s Managing Authority in Romania and TESIM.
The event started with the opening speeches of representatives of our Directorate. The general rules for project implementation, main provisions in the grant contracts and the partnership agreements, information and visibility rules, key aspects of project financial management, eligibility rules for expenditure, procurement rules, state aid applicable rules and monitoring constituted the main highlights of the training on the first day.
On the second day of the training, roles of National Authority, CCP and Controllers in the prevention, detection and correction of irregularities, fraud and corruption, expenditure and revenue verification and EU regulations provisions were addressed.
Also, the participants shared their experience about the challenges they faced in the previous programming period.
