IPA Multi-country Programme Coordination Meeting was held on 28-29 June 2018 in Skopje, Macedonia. Attending the representatives from European Commission Directorate-General Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), EU Delegations, National IPA Coordinator (NIPAC) Offices and the Regional Cooperation Council, Türkiye was represented by a delegation consist of Coordinator Şebnem Sözer, EU Affairs Experts Serkan Bozkurt and Yusuf Ziya Ayrım and Assistant EU Affairs Expert Metin Esen from Financial Cooperation Directorate of the Ministry for EU Affairs.

The opening speeches of the meeting was made by the Mr. Samuel Zbogar, Head of EU Delegation in Macedonia, Ms. Kalinka Gaber, State Secretary for European Affairs of Macedonia and Director of Western Balkans unit of DG NEAR from European Commission. The road map and overview of Multi-country Programme in 2019-2020 and project proposals under the priority areas of Programme was discussed in the meeting. “Security, Rule of Law”, “Reconciliation and Territorial Cooperation”, “Education, Youth and Culture”, “Economic Governance and Public Administration Reform”, “Civil Society and Social Inclusion”, “Western Balkans and Investment Framework” were the main highlights of the meeting.
