EU Minister Ömer Çelik Participated In The 7th Turkish-British Tatlıdil Forum
Minister for European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik participated in the 7th Turkish-British Tatlidil Forum which was held in Reading, UK on May 11-13, 2018.
EU Minister Ömer Çelik was present at the opening of the Forum along with HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York KG and The Rt Hon Boris Johnson, UK Secretary of State and delivered an opening speech.
EU Minister Ömer Çelik attended a panel on May 12 and spoke on “Post Brexit” with Sir Alan Duncan MP, UK Minister of State for Europe and the Americas.
During the panel relations with the EU and bilateral relations in the wake of Brexit were discussed and the strategic cooperation between Türkiye and the UK was underlined.
Following the Tatlıdil Forum, EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik accompanied President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his official visit to UK.
