The Ministry for EU Affairs Evaluates in Paris Türkiye’s Contributions to the Future of Europe with Representatives of Media, Universities and Think-Tanks

The Ministry for EU Affairs, under the auspices of Undersecretary of the Ministry for EU Affairs Ambassador Selim Yenel, will hold two different conferences in Paris on 20 – 21 December 2017, with the participation of academicians, think tanks and media representatives from Türkiye and  France titled “TURKEY AND EU CIVIL SOCIETY MEETINGS: EUROPE, OUR COMMON FUTURE”.

Representatives of civil society from Türkiye and  France will come together to exchange views by assessing Türkiye-EU relations in the current context. The ideas and recommendations shared in these series of meetings are aimed to provide guidance for establishing a common future in the context of Türkiye-EU relations.

The first meeting of representatives of the business world, academicians and members of the media, who are important stakeholders in the EU Communication Strategy (EUCS), was held in Brussels on 29 November 2016, the second meeting was held in Berlin on 14-15 December 2016, the third meeting was held in London on 9-10 January 2017, and the fourth meeting was held in Madrid on 27-28 September 2017. The series of meetings are planned to continue in other EU capital cities following the meetings in Paris.
