Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will come together with representatives of academia, media and business world on 27-28 September 2017 in Madrid.
Within the scope of the program, EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will address Spanish academicians, press and think-tank representatives at a meeting entitled "Future: Europe and Türkiye-EU Relations" to be organized with the Elcano Royal Institute, one of Spain’s leading think-tanks, and Turkish and Spanish businessmen at a meeting hosted by the Spanish Confederation of Employers' Organizations (CEOE).
It is aimed that the ideas and proposals to be shared at these meetings, where Türkiye-EU relations will be evaluated, will be a guide in terms of the common future of Türkiye and the EU.
Organized under the framework of Türkiye’s EU Communication Strategy, these meetings will be a follow up of the “Civil Society Meeting” series, which started in Brussels on November 2016 and continued in major EU capitals.
